Founder of NWSA and co-owner and president of Offshore Sailing School.  Doris worked for Yachting Magazine before joining Offshore Sailing School in 1969.  She became president in 1978.  She authored SAILING:  A Woman's Guide in 1999.  Doris is listed in Who's Who of America, Who's Who of American Women and Who's Who of the World.  Doris is a member of Boat/US National Advisory Council and a member of the board of directors of Sail America, where she serves on various committees, and a member of Sail Expo Atlantic City Boat Show Committee.
