Darthea grew up sailing at the Hingham Yacht Club, Hingham, MA, in Turnabouts and on her family’s cruising boat, Pegasus. She was an active member of Hingham Yacht Club’s Junior Racing program and competed in many junior and senior MASS BAY SAILING events. Darthea currently skippers Static, an Evelyn 32, in Hingham Bay PHRF Fleet A. A past member of the New England Yacht Racing Council, former Secretary for MASS BAY SAILING Association  for six years, Darthea is the  Fleet Governor of Hingham Bay PHRF and is the Fleet Handicapper. Dar joined the NWSA board in 2008 as Secretary.
