to Celestial Navigation. Head to Ft. Lauderdale in
November,
when it may get a bit chilly in your neck of the woods, or just
for a change of scenery. This is a weekend workshop lead by
Julie Teetsov. Julie has been conducting these sessions for
several years. If you've never handled a sextant and wondered
just how the sailors got around centuries ago,

Hoss Collins, of Hingham, Massachusetts, joined the board of
NWSA and also was elected Secretary, filling the position left by
the death of Sue Corl last March. We are delighted to have
Dar's enthusiasm for sailing and her extensive administrative
experience.

Corl earlier this year. |
Elizabeth
S. ("Sue) Corl, NWSA Secretary, died at age 62, February
24th in Salem Hospital, Salem, MA following a lengthy illness. In
Sue’s memory, donations may be made to the Women’s Sailing Foundation
for the AdventureSail® program, 98 Washington Street, Marblehead,
