Joan Thayer

| Joan has been sailing for many years. She grew up in
Marblehead, MA, where she has been actively racing in one-design
boats. Her current boat is the 23' Sonar. Joan has been involved
with sailing on local and national levels. She is a member of the
Corinthian Y.C.and its Race Committee, MASS BAY Sailing and the
Women's Sailing Committee of US SAILING. She joined NWSA in 1995 and has
co-chaired the Boston AdventureSail with Sue Corl since 1996. Joan
joined the Board of NWSA in 2001. |
