Linda began sailing as an adult and has been active in the sport for many years.  Linda has sailed the Pacific Coast and single-handed a boat in a race to Japan.  She has competed in numerous trans-Pac races to Hawaii. A maritime attorney and former school district administrator, Linda is past Commodore of Pacific Coast Yachting Association and holds a 100-ton Captain's license. Linda is an ASA certified sailing instructor and specializes in teaching women to sail.
Linda chaired the 2008 Women's Sailing Conference in Port Townsend, WA. She was elected to the NWSA Board in 2005, and served as Vice President in 2009-2010.
